We provide a wide range of primary health care services under one roof from our purpose built premises in Hamsterley Colliery and Dipton.
We welcome all new patients, who live within our practice boundaries. If you would like to register at Oakfields Health Centre or Dipton Surgery please ask at reception for details of what you need to do.
Both practice buildings are easily accessed by all patients or visitors, including those with limited mobility. There is ample car parking on both sites and space to park bicycles securely.
In addition to doctor and nurse-led clinics we offer a wide range of additional services provided by visiting staff. These include ante-natal clinics, mental health and physiotherapy services. All the professionals work together closely to make sure we provide a personal service with continuity of care across the extended team.
A personal service offering choice and continuity of care
We aim to provide patients with a choice of health care professional. We have 2 male Doctors, 3 female Doctors and 3 Nurse Practitioners, supported by a team of nurses and healthcare assistants. Each member of our team has a particular area of expertise or special interest and you have the right to ask to see the practitioner of your choice. Please respect the fact that you may have to wait longer to be consulted by the doctor of your choice.
